I refuse to spend my sons first summer too worried about what I look like and trying to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans.

Right now my focus is on maintaining a good milk supply and replenishing nutrients to feel my best so I can run and play with him!

If you’re in the thick of postpartum too, hi! I’m Jessica. A first time mom learning how to care for myself and sharing the journey along the way! 🤍

First time my baby had broccoli and it was a success! He wasn’t too sure at first but then gobbled it up!

I just steamed some broccoli and then puréed it with breastmilk. Super easy! I’m starting with purées and then we will move into the baby led weaning method with a big chunk of cooked broccoli.

I’m on a mission to have him eat (and like!) veggies so I’m starting them early and introducing often. Moms, what are your tricks to get your baby or toddler to eat veggies?

I’ll just be here enjoying the baby phase while refusing to subscribe to “bounce back” culture 💁🏼‍♀️

Motherhood has been such an identity shift for me, but in the best way. I don’t want to be who I was pre-pregnancy. I’ve grown, and learned, and become stronger, while also softened at the same time.

My body has stretch marks and is softer than it was. But why would I want to erase the evidence of what has made me a mom?

Body image is something I’ve struggled with in the past, and I still have days where I my body still feels foreign, but I’m also learning to appreciate my body for all it has done for me ❤️
