Let me explain… 👇🏻 I stopped listening to Let me explain… 👇🏻

I stopped listening to what the world says, or even what my head said. Instead, I turned to scripture and asked what God said about my body. 

❤️ Here’s an example:

You may have heard the saying “your body is a temple”, but what does that actually mean? 

First, I think it’s important that we think about what a temple is. When I think of a temple, I imagine a grand structure that is detailed and beautiful. It is a place that is sacred and full of splendor. I also image that a temple is well taken care of and kept clean. Everything stays shiny and the garden and grass surrounding is maintained.

When you walk into a temple like described above, wouldn’t you treat it with respect and care? I know I would!! 

Now let’s look at scripture:

“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬ ‭

Not only does it say that your body is a temple, but it says that it is a temple of the Holy Spirit. 

Whaaaaat?! 

✨The Holy Spirit dwells IN YOU. Inside your body, inside your temple.✨

How would you treat the temple of the Holy Spirit? Is that how you are treating your body?

Are you taking care of yourself? Eating healthy? Getting healthy movement?

Thinking of my body in this perspective has changed so much for me. Not only has it helped me treat my body with care, but I also view it differently and show it love and respect. 

So remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that temple is sacred and beautiful to our Father❤️

This is the sweetest trend and I had to hop on it!

It’s so sweet to think about how far I’ve come and how different my life is than what I thought. I would have never expected in a million years that I would be a nutritionist and have my own business. 

My younger self is so proud of me 🥲

I didn’t even know how to cook when I first met my husband. Now I’m teaching others how to cook yummy and healthy food!

I was a 90s kid who grew up on pop tarts and tv dinners. Now I help women reclaim their health through food. 

I used to feel so insecure and found worth in my body size. Now I’ve worked through that and am a voice to help other women find their confidence too. 

I’m truly so grateful for all God has done in my life 🩷
