What are your thoughts? What was postpartum like f What are your thoughts? What was postpartum like for you?

Motherhood has been both the hardest & best thing I have ever done.

Those early postpartum/newborn days are sacred. Take all the time you need for rest & recovery 🫶🏻
Your baby NEEDS healthy fats! Whipped bone marro Your baby NEEDS healthy fats!

Whipped bone marrow is a nourishing and yummy way to meet the high fat needs for your baby’s growing brain 😋

Rather than serving a big bowl of it, I used it to add fats to a balanced meal. I froze it in small portions so I could use it at a later time too.

Here are a few ways my baby enjoyed it:

- Added to mashed sweet potatoes
- As a sauce on chickpea noodles. (Plus a little breastmilk)
- Added it to a teether while frozen to help with teething pain & give a little snack
- Plus any time I knew I needed an easy added fat to any meal!

P.S. don’t throw out the bones! You can use it to make bone broth! 😍

Between cooking, baking, and all the cozy fall things, the last thing I want to deal with is pesky fruit flies!

I picked up the Zevo Flying Insect Trap and official refills on my latest Target run. Its blue and UV light attracts and traps flying insects 24/7, so it can catch what I can’t clean!

Add it to your next Target haul & get the link in my bio! 🛒

Mama, can you relate? I’m testing out getting rea Mama, can you relate?

I’m testing out getting ready every day this week, not because feel like I “need to”…

But because it’s a way for me to get to know my new self as a mom. It helps me take time for myself (because it’s really easy to just NOT!)

I want to get to know how I like my hair, makeup, and clothes.

And also because I’ve always loved girly things and it’s a way for me to have some fun!

Today is day 1! I only took 10 minutes while my baby was napping and he of course woke up the second I was done… but at least I had a few minutes!

See ya tomorrow! 👋🏻

And if you’re new here, hi! I’m Jessica. A new mama 9 months postpartum. I’m a nutritionist and usually share healthy meals for busy moms, but I wanted to share a little more about my personal postpartum journey too! 🫶🏻
