Crispy Air Fryer Broccoli

This recipe is one of my most viewed reels on Instagram, so I decided it needed a permanent home on my blog! It’s all in the air fryer
The trick here is using an air fryer. I love to cook almost any veggie in the air fryer. This method will yield a crispy result, rather than being steamed and mushy. Cooking broccoli in an air fryer makes the edges crispy and so delicious!
The air fryer I use has a very big basket, which I love because you can cook so much at one time! If your air fryer is smaller, you may want to cut the recipe in half or cook it in batches to ensure a crispy result. (Or, treat yourself to an air fryer like mine!!)
What you’ll need for this recipe
- Broccoli
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Avocado oil
Tip- I love to buy organic broccoli from Costco. It comes in a two-pound bag and is already pre-cut. There are some larger pieces in there I like to cut into bite-sized pieces, but it still makes for a quick dinner!
How to make Air Fryer Broccoli
Step 1- Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and add to a large bowl
Step 2- Add avocado oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix to evenly coat the broccoli.
Step 3- Add to air fryer basket in a single layer (if you have a small air fryer you may need to do this in multiple batches)
Step 4- Air fry at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until edges are crispy
Step 5- Serve as a side dish with your favorite meal!
What to serve Air Fryer Broccoli with
This recipe will go well served with chicken, salmon, steak, or pork! It is so versatile and you could even play around with the flavor by adding different seasonings. I love to serve it with teriyaki chicken and rice.

- 1 lb Broccoli
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces and toss with oil and seasoning
- Add to air fryer in an even layer
- Cook on 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until crispy
- Serve with your favorite meal and enjoy!
