1. Add 1/2 cup water to a pot and heat until it is almost at a simmer
2. Remove the pot from the heat and add in dried lavender. Place a tight-fitting lid on top.
3. Steep for 5-10 minutes
4. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl or jar and then pour liquid through the strainer. Use a spatula and gently push down on the lavender to remove all of the liquid.
5. Add the liquid back to the pot and add in the honey and blueberries. Bring to a simmer and cook until the blueberries have started to burst.
6. Add the strainer on top of bowl or jar and pour the blueberry lavender syrup through it to strain out the solids. Use a spatula and gently push down on the blueberries so they release all of their liquid,
7. Let the mixture cool and then add to a large pitcher or half gallon mason jar. Add in the lemon juice and water and mix to combine,
8. Pour over ice and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe will make a tart lemonade. If you like it sweeter add another 1/4 cup of honey when simmering.
